Anahí Giovanna Puente Portilla, better known as Anahí , (born May 14, 1983), is a Mexican singer-songwriter and actress.
She is best known for starring in Alondra (1995), Mujeres Engañadas (1999), Primer Amor (2000), Clase 406 (2003), Rebelde (2004) and Dos Hogares (2011).
She was a member of RBD, who were nominated twice for a Latin Grammy and sold over 20 million records. Before RBD, Anahí released four albums. The success of them was more limited, none of them officially charted. In 2009 she released the album Mi Delirio. The album had a moderate success selling 1.000.000 copies worldwide. She has sold 5 million albums as a solo artist.
Anahí has since retired due to her relationship with Chiapas's governor.
