Belgian/Paraguayan-descendant Latin pop singer Gizelle D'Cole got involved in the dance-pop scene after working as model and actress in her native Argentina. Holding an impressive background, including dance, jazz, ballet, and guitar classes, Gizelle D'Cole moved to the U.S. to pursue a singing career. After meeting producer Ric Wake in Miami and Tommy Mottola at a Gloria Estefan performance in New York, the young artist signed up to Sony Music, making a self-titled debut album in 1999, featuring the hit single "Come Baby Come," recorded with merengue star Elvis Crespo. In addition, Gizelle D'Cole's "Revancha De Amor" was featured in the movie Music of My Heart.
